May 24 New Weekly Photo Challenge: In The Background & Live and Learn Saturday: The Brooklyn Bridge

In a new post created for this challenge, share a picture that says In the Background.

This “In the Background” picture is from Wolf, one of my good friends who shot this in Brooklyn, NY. You can see the Brooklyn Bridge in the background. It is a bridge that I crossed many times coming from Philadelphia into Brooklyn. You can see downtown Manhattan in the background. If you look at the Wiki page, you can see how it looks during the day or where the World Trade Center used to stand (which is the picture I had hanging up on my wall).

  4. I was born and rasied in Brooklyn. I have never forgotten it. My hubby had a ring made in the shape of the Brooklyn Bridge for our 25th anniversary. A reminder of where we met, went to school together, got married and lived until we moved several years ago. A wonderful trip down memory lane from the pix. Wolf has captured it beautifully. He is a fabulous photog.
