Three people walk into a bar . . .
Three inventions walk into a bar: a radio, a television and a laptop.
Radio says: I am a great invention because I can go anywhere and I make people dance.
Television says: I am better invention because people can watch me. I can make people dance too.
Laptop says: I am the best invention because people can play with me. They can watch me and I make them dance too.
Ms Water who was working at the bar yells: Shut up and drink before I spill myself all over y’all. I am your worse nightmare, just like Mayhem!!! (referring to Allstate commercial)

So I am definitely NOT a comedian but I gave it my best shot. How did I do? Can you come up with better ones?
PS-In my defense, I had 2 other stories with “three men” in mind due to some headlines this morning. I thought they were too heavy and controversial for a Monday morning. Let me know if you want to read and I will post them 🙂

I was drinking my coffee, thinking what the heck am I gonna do with this one. I was debating between a joke (that’s what we normally do) or a short story. I went for laughs. At least chuckles… Did u post one?

My goal when I write is to suck you the reader into the story and leave you feeling some kind of emotions. You are either laughing or crying for the character, loving or hating another one, squirming because you’re not sure what you would do. This is my favorite style. lol
oh yes!! I love the squirming. I want to be made uncomfortable, that is my fav.
Okay. I’ll take the challenge. I don’t think I’ll have time to do it now but i’ll wrote on it throughout the day. I’ll let you know 😉

It’s fine. It’s misleading… I’m not published yet. I will work on that afterward I write the book. I’m exploring options now and I’ll take it from there.
You seem very organized. That will serve you well. I am not. Lol I think it’s just fun to write, the publishing part is not very important to me. My little book will be thousands of pages when I’m done no doubt. Not a enjoyable read for anyone but myself I think lol
I HAVE to be organized due to all the different things going on in my life. lol… I enjoy reading and writing. But I want to share it too 🙂

It is fun to write. I started this particular novel in January. It was a recurring dream. I could not sleep so I started jotting down scenes. Since I want a great book, I spent a lot of time on the plot, subplots, creating the outline, developing characters and settings. This way, I can just tell the story, write it and edit it. Since I created my little world already, I will not have detail conflicts… I have a short story for a writing challenge you can check out 🙂
Especially when I know that you are someone who is scared by ducks, a lot of things naturally sound funny 😉
PS- you have a good sense of humour. Keep it up
I’m afraid of getting attacked. It could be a dog, a cat, a snake or a lion. All pose equal threats lol… I like to live on the lighter side of life. Mom says it keeps wrinkles away. I believe it. Thanks!!!
